I really like the colours here, the yellow eye creates a nice contrast to the violets.

how do you shrink them big pictures to icon size without making them look all pixiled

I don't draw bigger and then shrink, I draw on 300x300 pixel canvas and 300 DPI :)

dpi = dots per inch
[link] - blah blah boring wikipedia stuff

life stuff - setting 300 dpi is good because when you want to print something, 72 (usual dpi) is not enough

so I alwys when create new canvas and want to draw, I set on 300 dpi :)

you set it in your drawing program :)
